When I left the bedside in 2022, I wasn't sure what to do with my nursing career. I only knew that I wanted to work from home from now on.

Guardy and Angel began to come to me in scenes where I had to stop what I was doing to write. As many writers probably experience, the scenes don't always arrive in order or make much sense at the time of writing. But as a creative exercise, I decided to trust and obey!

I only took the story seriously once my characters began to take on a life of their own.

When your story starts to tell itself, it's time to sit up and take notice!

My organic writing process has been a cathartic exercise in muse and creativity. I am just grateful to be behind the wheel to tell it.

And Grandma Bridget insists it will be a proper tale with a proper ending. Someday. After a few books, perhaps.
